Nourishing and nutritious postpartum specific meals home-cooked in my council-registered kitchen for delivery. Emphasis on the postpartum principles that food should be warm, warming and easy to digest.
Meals are home-cooked using fresh ingredients and impeccable food hygiene standards, and snap-frozen ready for delivery and easy reheat. Create your freezer stash with postpartum specific meal packages for when baby arrives, or gift to a heavily pregnant/newborn mother friend.
If there are no items on the menu of interest, I will happily make any meal you like, just send me the recipe!
I will also happily alter any of my meals to meet your requirements - Completely customizable and accommodating to allergies, intolerances, preferences and aversions.
Please note that I am not a company, I am a sole trader mum of 4 aiming to get nourishment and support to postpartum mums. My meals are home-cooked with love. They are not packaged to look like they came from a company. I use biodegradable compostable packaging, where I hand print and sticky tape on the labels. One day I would like to professionalize this process but for now, when ordering from me, please accept a little creative shabbiness.
I hold and maintain the council registration for my kitchen and my Food Safety Supervisor Level 1 and 2 certificate. I worked in hospitality previously for 7 years on and off, including as Cook in a 48 place Childcare Centre for a year.

What goes in to a postpartum woman’s body has a profound impact on her healing and recovery journey. From supporting the establishment of milk supply, to wound healing, to energy enhancement, hormone support and mood balancing; the food she eats directly influences these factors.
In early postpartum there is a lot of air and space within the abdomen and pelvis. A lot of energy goes into the organs realigning back into their original positioning. Energy is also used contracting the uterus back to size, healing the wound left by the placenta, healing the tissues/muscles/ligaments stretched/damaged/effected by pregnancy and birth, and establishment of milk production. The body naturally slows the digestive system to send the energy to these areas. The foods eaten can accomodate these processes and account for the slowed digestion.
Foods that are initially liquidy and slow cooked aid easy digestion, with increasing texture as healing occurs. Avoiding cold food and drink nurtures those processes by not taking the energy to warm to digest these cold intakes. Opting for warm, warming and easy-to digest meals and drinks is the most beneficial thing a woman and her village can do for healing and recovery postpartum.
These recipes are hand-picked from recipe books developed by postpartum experts, nutritionists and naturopaths, with a few of my own, to nurture and support your transformation into Newborn Mother, and return to full capability nourished and healed.

The first session is 1.5 hours long and is attended in the morning. Freshly cooked breakfast and a hot drink is served to the newborn mother. A check in with the mother is attended, and some housekeeping such as washing, dishes, bins emptied. Optional for check in with the mother: gentle music can be played while having a foot soak, then black sesame oil massaged into her feet, while lending an empathetic ear where she can relate her experience.
The second session is also 1.5 hours and is in the middle of the day, and lunch is cooked fresh and served to you. Option for this meal to be a bigger batch and the leftovers stored in single serves in the fridge. Further kitchen prep is attended for the dinner meal, and if time allows any cleaning that is required around the home
The third session is 2 hours and is in afternoon. Dinner is cooked and served fresh. This is a big batch meal, and left overs are stored in single serves in the freezer for the next few days. The kitchen is cleaned, then if there’s any time left over, a check in with the mother is attended and any housekeeping or cleaning required around the home
When meals and drinks are served the mother it is done with an air of reverence for her birthing body and the sacred postpartum window. If she needs anything or there are specific things she would like support with, they will be attended promptly

This is a fully customizable pay per hour service. The aim of this in-home service is to be your village - to support you by doing all the things. It is to be your body while your body builds and nourishes a baby, until you are recovered and ready to take it all back on.
I was trained in domestic cleaning when I worked for a private domestic cleaning company for a year. I have also worked as a private domestic cleaner and housekeeper since launching this business in early 2022.
Mothering for the past 16 years with my 2 batches of children has given me extensive organizational, multitasking and housekeeping skills. Also, being a mum of 4 means i have experienced it all - there is no level of mould in compost bins, clothes on floors, rubbish/dishes/nappies anywhere, toy tornados or grubby surfaces that will phase me.
I work hard and fast on housekeeping and cleaning tasks, combining being thorough with moving quickly.
I am a Diploma of Nursing trained EEN who worked as a district nurse for 4 years. This exposed me to every style of housing in every form of disrepair. I always enter a home with empathy and deliberate lack of judgement, with eyes that only see how I can support. With love I will accept you and this life phase of not being able to do it all - that’s why I’m here.
